After graduating with a major in design, you can be employed in a variety of areas: You will work as a design engineer in the areas of design and development, testing, production, project planning, customer consulting and sales and will be responsible for developing and designing machines

As a student specializing in mechanical engineering

You deal with development, quality assurance and testing tasks as well as with calculation, design and manufacturing
You present ideas in drafts and drawings that involve either the new development of a product or the further development of an existing product
You know the physical laws in theory and practice, the interaction of design elements, external conditions (temperatures, corrosion, wear, etc.) and consider the appealing design of the product
