Yesterday, Wednesday, Baden-Württemberg's Minister of Economic Affairs, Labour and Tourism, Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut, handed the highest level "Excellence" award to three companies from Baden-Württemberg, including the Optima Packaging Group. The award is presented for holistic approaches to digital transformation.

We see the award as a great honor and also as a reward for our efforts," he says. "For us, it is crucial that we find the best possible solution for our customers. We have already received a lot of positive feedback from customers. The award further encourages us to continue on our chosen path."

Optima offers digital solutions, known as Intelligent Production Assistance Services (IPAS), to support customers in optimizing their production. With IPAS, customers have an overview of processes and systems, can identify potential for improvement and receive rapid support if required. In addition, digital technologies at Optima already provide support in engineering and other value-added processes, resulting in improved time-to-market, quality and reduced workload for employees.

"With the new 'Allianz Industrie 4.0 Award Baden-Württemberg' competition, we are setting a new focus. We are showing the extent to which our companies have integrated digitalization solutions into their value chain in order to be agile, resilient and economically successful, especially in international competition," emphasized Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut.
