On January 23, four representatives of the Nuremberg exhibition centre first visited Packaging Valley and then Optima Consumer. Ulrich Burkart guided the group through the Optima machine hall and answered interested questions of the visitors. Sustainability and digitalization also played an important role in the visit.
The visit was about exchange, but also about ideas and visions for the future. Sabine Gauger initiated the meeting. As second chairperson of Packaging Valley Germany e.V. and within the scope of her activities at Optima, she has been a member of the trade fair advisory board of Fachpack Nuremberg for 4 years. "The subject of sustainability is occupying and affecting all of us to a rapidly increasing extent," explains Sabine Gauger, "there are other top topics that are also suitable for cooperation. For example, at a customer event like Packaging Valley Days, one could very well imagine a partnership. In times of rapid change, extensive networks and synergies have become even more important". This is also the view of the guests from Nuremberg, and they all agree that there will be concrete discussions about this in the coming months.
We are looking forward to this!
