Optima's success is largely due to reliable suppliers. The Schwäbisch Hall-based company has now honored them for this. Among the honorees are many companies from the Heilbronn-Franken region.
In May, Optima held the Supplier Awards ceremony, honoring the best suppliers of 2023. The event was particularly important in regard of the challenges of previous years, which were characterized by supply bottlenecks and resource shortages. Despite these difficulties, the suppliers were able to ensure punctual and reliable deliveries, for which they were honored at the ceremony.
Heiko Funk, CEO of Optima Materials Management, highlighted in his speech the tremendous growth trajectory of Optima specifically in relation to expanding suppliers for components and services. He explained the evaluation criteria, which are primarily focused on on-time delivery and quality. In the future, sustainability issues will also play an important role. Close collaboration with suppliers is crucial for Optima's success.
In various product groups such as turned/milled parts, sheet metal parts and plastic parts, the suppliers were awarded for their outstanding performance. Among them were numerous companies from the Heilbronn-Franken region, such as HEITEC AG, Edgar Ockert GmbH, Mehnert Lasertec GmbH, Metallbau Nägele GmbH, SBM GmbH, RB Elektro Systems GmbH & Co. KG, Frank Nachtigall GmbH, Hernadi Metall- und Kunststoffbearbeitung, Hofmann GmbH, Horstmann Elektrotechnik and Alfred Seifert & Söhne GmbH.
At the event, guests were given an insight into assembly at Optima Pharma to illustrate the importance of the parts and services supplied to the final product. The Supplier Awards were very well received by the suppliers and were acknowledged as a unique recognition of their achievements. The event provides an excellent platform for expanding the successful cooperation between Optima and its suppliers.
