Your customers expect quality and packaging free from anything harmful. This is why various technologies first check every sanitary napkin and every insert to ensure it is suitable for the packaging process. All others are automatically rejected.
A decisive point in the quality assurance of pads and liners is, above all, the correct thickness. Products that exceed or fall below the desired value are rejected by the system directly. Metal detectors also check that no foreign objects of any kind have made their way into the goods during production. Needless to say, targeted sampling for control purposes is also possible.

What they all have in common is that your pads and liners – either multi-folded or stretched – are checked, gently collected and lined up in a continuous process. In the end, the correct number is always delivered as a stack. Be it for further manual processing or directly into one or more fully automatic packing machines.
For standard stacking processes, stacker chains with a discharge unit are used. High flexibility is provided by long stacking chains with multiple discharge units in fully automatic packing machines. We offer the best packaging performance on the market as well as decades of experience in packaging premade PE bags. You can choose from a wide variety of bag shapes here. When sealing the bags, we always make sure gaps are carefully sealed with perfect weld seams that are exactly where they should be. This way, your products are protected along the entire logistics chain and have a symmetrical shape, come what may.
Bottom-folded bags are flat, premade PE film bags with one fold and two welded side seams, and can be custom printed. Optima machines fill them with the product stacks at top speed and seal the bags securely. During the process, our systems work precisely and gently with the product.
Side-folded bags made of PE film are either premade or made directly on the packaging machine out of a tube from the roll. After filling at top speed, Optima systems seal each bag securely and precisely.
