Converting excellence

COMPAMED is the number 1 event for medical technology producers who are looking for solutions. Visitors to the Optima Life Science stand will find solutions for manufacturing and packaging wound dressings. The Optima Group's business division in Schwaebisch Hall has decades of experience in the converting sector and plans and implements combined manufacturing and packaging systems for modern wound dressings. That's why the trade show's motto is "Converting Excellence". A scalable machine for web converting – the OPTIMA TDC 125 – will be exhibited at the booth.

Complex wound dressings can often be a challenge due to their web tension and cutting behavior. For these applications, it is especially important to combine experience and new technologies into something completely new. It is therefore no accident that Optima Life Science has been able to enjoy considerable success in market development for a number of years. Optima Life Science carries out tests in its in-house technical center in order to achieve optimal results. Three of the most important criteria in its testing are product protection, output and cutting accuracy.

Ideal for new products and business segments

Manufacturing, packaging in pouches and repackaging in boxes – Optima Life Science's systems for wound dressings can do it all. The OPTIMA TDC 125 – a scalable machine that can be used both under laboratory conditions as well as for subsequent production – is well-suited for developing new products and business segments. It will be exhibited at COMPAMED in Duesseldorf.

High-speed web converting

If high output quantities are required, users will benefit from the MDC300 production and packaging system. In the advanced model, the system can discharge up to 600 products per minute. As a provider of turnkey solutions, Optima Life Science integrates additional process steps, such as packaging in sealed pouches or in cardboard boxes. A single contact at Optima Life Science ensures close cooperation and fast decision-making. The modular structure enables a fast and space-saving installation. In combination with the OPAL line management software, which improves the overall effectiveness of the system, the result is highly efficient production. A single contact at Optima Life Science ensures close cooperation and fast decision-making.
